“The Outdoor Life” paints an intimate portrait of what it takes to prepare a 13-year-old to ride one of the world’s most physically demanding bikepacking races: the Arizona Trail 800. Watch the film here…

The Outdoor Life was filmed, edited, and produced by Joe Norledge. It follows Restrap Ambassadors Rich Rothwell and his 13-year-old son James as they prepare to ride the Arizona Trail Race 800 (which they subsequently completed, making James the youngest finisher ever). The video explores the pair’s relationship on and off the bike as James ages and becomes more independent. Watch the 10-minute video below.
