The new North St. Bags Adventure Micro Panniers are based around the same minimalist design as the brand’s original micro pannier, but they use a sturdy velcro attachment system for off-road use. Check them out here…
Portland-based North St. Bags made their foray into the world of bikepacking bags in 2019. The Micro Pannier was the centrepiece of the launch, positioned as a slender, lightweight option for commuting and bikepacking. Although they’ve released a few other pannier options since then, the Micro Pannier has remained relatively unchanged, save a few new color options.
The new North St. Bags Adventure Micro Panniers use the same design as the original but has an updated attachment system that looks better suited to off-road riding, singletrack, and bikepacking. The upper hook attachment points have been replaced with large velcro straps that are big enough to accommodate rack bars up to 1.5″. The lower bungee attachment was also replaced with a simple Voile strap that looks like it would hold up better on bumpy terrain.
